Sunday Morning, Fisherman's Cove

The road to the Government Wharf in Eastern Passage is depicted in this summer scene from the early 1990's. The area in back of the fishing shacks is now the site of the Fisherman's Cove development.

This scene, with its tranquil mirror like water, is part of a pair with "The Road to the Breakwater", also completed in 1993. It is one of Clyde's most popular paintings, and has been widely copied.
